Cummins’ commitment to gender diversity was recognized in 2023 by Forbes’ magazine, which ranked the company No. 4 on its list of America’s Best Employers for Women 2023. The ranking is based on an independent survey of more than 60,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in the United States. The sample included more than 40,000 women. Cummins believes in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion to help create innovative solutions to customers biggest challenges.

ADDRESSING THE GLOBAL WATER CRISIS

Cummins initiative strengthens communities by creating sustainable water supplies

More than 500,000 people have benefited from Cummins Water Works’ efforts to create more sustainable sources of water around the world to help address the global water crisis. Launched in 2021, this strategic community initiative partners with leading water experts to invest and engage in sustainable, large-scale, high-impact water projects. For example, a partnership with The Nature Conservancy is working to restore a three-mile oyster reef in Louisiana to naturally filter water in the Gulf region. The company’s $13 million effort is funding projects in 11 countries.
